I created www.thecareerplug.com after spending years on numerous college campuses throughout the United States recruiting students for various internship and full-time opportunities. Throughout my travels I began to notice an increasingly sizable amount of students who were smart and more than capable of doing the job yet not receive any offers. ?Only if she did this . . . ? or ?I just wish he said that . . . ? were all too common phrases I would hear when speaking with my colleagues about a particular candidate. Hearing all of this feedback combined with my 10+ years in the campus recruitment space I wanted to provide a virtual platform that I could direct students to when they had certain questions.That virtual platform has grown tremendously and has taken me to places I would have never imagined.
